Jeff began his insurance career in 1989 with New York Life after 15 years as an employee and then owner of a retail hardware store, he joined Hausmann-Johnson Insurance in September, 1995 as a benefits agent specializing in group health, life, dental, short and long term disability and vision. His background has allowed him to provide his clients the understanding of their needs, problems and issues as a business owner.
Jeff has been an active member of the Wisconsin Health Underwriters Association throughout his career. He has also been active in communication with his elected officials regarding healthcare issues. He feels it is important to provide his representatives clear understanding of the impact of legislation on his clients.
Jeff also feels it’s important to give back to his community and the communities of his clients. He is currently president of the Columbus Football Organization, member of the Columbus Volunteer Fire Department, was past President of the Columbus High school Booster Club, Chairman of the Columbus Recreation Committee, and Columbus July 4th Celebration. He was active in coaching football, basketball, baseball and softball. He has also been active in supporting activities in the communities of his clients.
Jeff lives in Columbus with his spouse Deborah. They have 3 children: Nick, who works for West Business Services; Abby, who is an elementary school teacher and Hannah, who is a Senior at UW Stevens Point.
