After Graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a bachelor’s degree in Business and marketing, Scott stayed in Boulder for another year to pursue his passion as a skier. While in Colorado he continued to work at a local restaurant Brasserie Ten Ten, as well as working as a commercial real estate broker’s assistant. During this time Scott was able to gain valuable sales experience while continuing to spend time in the Rocky Mountains.
 
Scott then moved to Seattle to work for QBE Insurance. Here he began to lay the foundation for a career in insurance working in their claims and personal lines departments. Working in claims gave him firsthand experience dealing with customers to help make them whole again.
 
In the fall of 2010 Scott moved back to Madison to pursue a career in sales as a commercial insurance agent at Hausmann-Johnson Insurance. Scott has gone through several rigorous commercial insurance courses and is currently pursuing other insurance designations to further his knowledge as an insurance agent. Scott is active in the community.  He is a Rosenberry member of the United Way of Dane County and stays involved in their annual fundraising campaign. He enjoys the seasons and stays active in all of the different athletic activities that Madison has to offer throughout the year.
