DOL Now Fully Enforcing FFCRA Paid Leave Rules for Coronavirus

When the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) was implemented on April 1, 2020, employers were given a grace period to begin complying with Emergency Paid Sick Leave and Emergency Paid Family Medical Leave, although retroactive benefits owed to employees would ultimately need to be repaid. That window to get into compliance is closing and employers should make certain that their practices now align with FFCRA.
